This new Agrex Tractor Three Point Hitch Spreader Model XA150 has a metal hopper and is PTO driven (includes
the PTO shaft) for your tractor category I, 3 point hitch hookup. It is ideal for farmers, landscapers, golf courses, sports fields and grounds keepers.
The XA
Series is our most popular series and this model has a one-piece metal
stamped hopper that provides a perfect degree of descent for maximum
seed flow. It is powder coat painted and has a standard filtering grid and manual quantity control. This spreader is great for spreading fertilizers, seeds, sand and salt. As with all salt spreaders, the hopper should be cleaned between uses.
The rotor blades can be adjusted to change the
amount of seed, fertilizer or salt thrown left or right. The center control lever
allows for a 90-degree left or right spread pattern or a 180-degree pattern
behind the tractor. The stabilizing bar in the middle of the hopper strengthens
the spreader and distributes the weight of the load.
The Agrex XA150 has a max. load of 441 lbs. or 4.25 Bushel capacity and the working speed is from 3 to 16 mph at 540
rpm. The spread width is 6m to 18m (19.5' to 59').
Options for this spreader include a deflector for
spreading salt (PAR3000), side conveyor (CON7000 & CON8000), articulated agitator with grid for spreading powdery or
damp fertilizer (XA251400) and a mechanical remote control (COM1000). These options are available on this website.
