This Agrex Tractor Three Point Hitch Spreader Model XL300 has a plastic hopper and is PTO driven (includes
the PTO shaft) for your category I tractor with 3 point hitch hookup. It is ideal for farmers, landscapers, grounds keepers, golf courses and sports fields.
The XL
Series is the plastic hopper version of the Agrex metal hopper spreaders. The XL spreaders are equipped with a stainless steel bottom, standard filtering grid, PTO shaft and manual quality control. This spreader is great for spreading fertilizers, seeds, sand and salt. As with all salt spreaders, the hopper should be cleaned between uses.
The rotor blades can be adjusted to change the
amount of seed or fertilizer thrown left or right. The center control lever
allows for a 90-degree left or right spread pattern or a 180-degree pattern
behind the tractor. The stabilizing bar in the middle of the hopper strengthens
the spreader and distributes the weight of the load.
The Agrex XL300 has a max. load of 771 lbs. or 7.09 Bushel capacity and the working speed is from 3 to 16 mph at 540
rpm. The spread width is 6m to 18m (19.5' to 59').
Options for this spreader include a deflector for
spreading salt (PAR3000), side conveyor (CON7000 & CON8000), articulated agitator with grid for spreading powdery or
damp fertilizer (XA251400) and a mechanical remote control (COM1000). These options are available on this website.
