This new Agrex Tractor Pendulum Spreader Model P406
is designed to ensure an accurate spreading pattern. It is ideal to use on vineyards, orchards, golf courses, sports fields and campuses.
This model requires a tractor with 7.0 kW or 9.4 hp.
The P/6
Series has an unbreakable plastic hopper, stainless steel bottom, and a PTO shaft. The pendulum movement of the spout provides an application rate that is identical on both sides. The side-to-side movement of the spout causes the fertilizer to be thrown to the left and right side only. Wind influence is minimized by the accurate application of the spout.
This Agrex Pendulum Spreader is great for spreading fertilizers, seeds, sand and salt. As with all salt spreaders, the hopper should be cleaned between uses.
The Agrex P406 has a max. load of 2,425 lbs. and the spread width is 6 to 24 meters or 6.56 yds to 26.25 yds.
Options for this model include a steel spout for spreading on rows (PX13), a spout for
spreading salt and sand (PX15),
a hydraulic control (PD601300) and a long finger agitator for powdery fertilizers (PD501260). These options are available on this website.
