This new Split-Fire Self Contained Log Splitter 4290 32 Ton Pull Behind is powered by a Honda GX 270 engine. This is the perfect choice for those who require peak power and performance. This two-way Split-Fire log splitter splits on both the forward and reverse strokes doubling the productivity compared to standard models that only split one way. The cycle speed is 11 to 13 seconds. The two-way knife can split logs up to 36"- 48" in diameter and 24" in length.

This log splitter has 32 tons of splitting force. The hydraulic cylinder size is 4.5" x 24" and the stroke length is 24". The pump generates 16 gpm low pressure and 4 gpm high pressure. This model comes with Towable Highway Tires, size 4.80" x 8", recommended for off-road towing or for towing over potted roads and highways. Safety chains are included, and it has a standard hitch size (2" ball coupler).

The Split-Fire 4290 is designed to prevent logs from shooting out unexpectedly. Jammed logs are easily loosened by placing a log on the other side of the knife and backing the knife off.
