This new Split-Fire Self Contained Log Splitter 2260 16 Ton Pull Behind is powered by a Honda GC 190 engine. It's compact design makes it an ideal companion for property owners splitting 50 cords of wood per year or less. This two-way Split-Fire log splitter splits on both the forward and reverse strokes doubling the productivity compared to standard models that only split one way. The cycle speed is 4 to 6 seconds. The two-way knife can split logs up to 18"- 20" in diameter and 24" in length.

The Split-Fire Log Splitter frame is a 5"x 5" heavy-duty steel square tube construction. The Split-Fire wood splitters and wood chippers have been the leading manufacturer for the highest quality and for providing the best possible return on your investment.

This log splitter has 16 tons of splitting force. The hydraulic cylinder size is 2.75" x 24" and the stroke length is 24". The pump generates 11 gpm low pressure and 2.7 gpm high pressure. This model comes with Towable Highway Tires, size 4.80" x 8", recommended for off-road towing or for towing over potted roads and highways. Safety chains are included, and it has a standard hitch size (2" ball coupler).

The Split-Fire 2260 is designed to prevent logs from shooting out unexpectedly. Jammed logs are easily loosened by placing a log on the other side of the knife and backing the knife off.
